Hi !
I’m Sarvani Bala, an Indian-Sri Lankan artist and 2025 graduate from UTS' Bachelors of Animation Production degree! I love reading, updating my letterboxd, making new friends wherever possible and I have a chronic aversion to any non-spicy food.
With a focus on Character Design, 2D Animation, and Illustration, i'm enthusiastic about bringing worlds, characters, and stories to life in ways that inspire and resonate with others the same way animation has always done for me.
Media I grew up on (such as Avatar: The Last Airbender, Batman: The Animated Series, DC Comics) and media i've found later in life (Revolutionary Girl Utena, Ghibli, Spiderverse) have all inspired and shaped the artist I am and the art i'm so endlessly passionate about making!
